After updating Newsmag to 4.9, my Posts page (https://piracymonitor.org/blog/) is broken. Two problems:
1) The page was designed to contain a text block that with text that introduces the content for for this page. But this content no longer appears at all (it is supposed to appear above the posts).
2) The filter for the block that I am using to display the actual posts was set to show only the posts that are categorized as ‘BLOG.’ However, the page now shows ALL posts, regardless of category.
When I attempted to use tagDiv Composer to access my Blog page to re-establish the text block and the filter, the WordPress admin console tells me that tagDiv Composer can no longer be used on the Posts page.
See screenshot https://ibb.co/WgnHMvr
Also, the mobile version of my home page no longer contains the same content of the home page that shows in a Web browser. I made no changes. The 4.9 update broke this.
What next? Step by step instructions please! Thank you.

One more comment – if you go to https://piracymonitor.org/blog, the sidebar to the right also contains several types of content that I did not put there.
Hi,
1)Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what’s wrong with your page. Please provide more details about this so I can identify it closer and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
2)That warning appears when you set up a page to your Posts page section from Settings->Reading Settings in WordPress -> https://www.screencast.com/t/iRNAqHing Please note that it’s not necessary to use that functionality with our theme. Also, please note that Newsmag does not allow you to create posts using the TD Composer but only the pages.
Regarding your right Sidebar, please check what kind of sidebar is attached for that page and also, check the Widgets section to see what kind of elements were added in that Sidebar. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/IONMFK32 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sBsLgXJ5BMBs I suppose that here you are using the Blog mode and not a static page, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qQ9Nl883
Hope this helps!
Thank you!
Hi – Thank you for the reply. These two problems are resolved, thanks to your suggestions. But I also have 3 other questions “while I have you,” listed below.
1) Home page – resolved. There is a header with a top menu and a main menu. Those are OK now. But you might want to know that I made the 4.9 update, the page layout changed and it made some of the items in those menus disappeared. I was able to restore them using the tagDiv editor.
2) The Blog page – resolved. Thanks to the suggestions that you made in your reply, I was able to fix the problem I was having. In the WordPress console > Settings > Reading, I set “Your homepage displays > static page” with Homepage = Home, and Posts page = none ( – select – ). All of the intended appearance and content has returned.
Questions, please:
1) How do I reduce the size of the font for the main menu?
2) Customizing the footer: Please See https://piracymonitor.org. There is a three-column footer. My company information is in the left column, which is OK. For the center column, I can’t find any controls to allow me to “filter” the list of categories for the posts that I expose. In the right column, I want the ‘categories’ list, but again, I can’t figure out how to establish a filter to expose only certain categories. I could not find instructions for this in the online documentation.
3) Footer behavior: Again see https://piracymonitor.org If you click on (any) of the categories listed in the right column of the footer, you are presented with another page (I will call it a “landing page”) that looks like this: https://ibb.co/H7FwSbk …which contains many different blocks and modules. I did not create this landing page – it just “appears” when you click a category. I would like to control the appearance/layout of this landing page so that 1) it shows ONLY the posts that correspond with that category, in a Block 8 or Block 15 format, and no other content, 2) control the number of posts that appears on that landing page, and 3) with no color gradient in the thumbnail images.
Thank you! I appreciate all the help!
Best regards,
– Steve

Hi,
1)If you want to reduce the font size for your main menu items, please note that you can d this from the Theme panel -> Theme Fonts -> Font Settings, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/K9gjAG5ufy3
2)If you want to have more access to this section, you will need to use the Footer Template Style 5 which has three empty columns where you can add as elements you want. For more details, please check the documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/
3)So, if you want to have more control over the category pages, please note that you can do that from the Theme panel -> Categories -> Category global settings and Per category settings. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/t4UiwhlQ9us Please check the documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-category-templates/
Thank you!
