Newsmag child theme doesn't cover some theme file modifications

Hi,
due to customization needs I’ve sligtly modified some theme files on the base of your indications. Therefore I created a Newsmag-child theme and put in the child theme the following files:
Newsmag/style.css
Newsmag/single.php
Newsmag/parts/header.php
and all works fine with these files after the theme update.

But I’ve also modified two other files, namely:
Newsmag/includes/td_settings.php
Newsmag/includes/wp_booster/wp-admin/content-metaboxes/ td_set_post_settings.php

which, even if existing in the foreseen path of child theme, their code patches seem not to work. Therefore, I’m forced to apply the code patches to this couple of files of the parent Newsmag theme EVERYTIME I update the Newsmag theme.
Is there a way to get these two files included in my child theme as well so that I can update the theme avoiding to redo all file modifications by hand?
Thanks a lot for any appreciated information.

Giuseppe

Hello gmaio,

Unfortunately, our theme has a list of files wich allows to do child theme. This list you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/ Our theme will be updated continuously and the child theme files will not be overwritten.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thank you for the message!
