Hi,
We are using a child theme from Newsmag version Versie: 2.3.7.1480749982 and want to use the Megamenu’s and weather items . But there are no possibilities to chose for a megamenu on the menu list like on your page https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-mega-menu/ or for the other items like weather.
Hello vince-2,
First of all, I will thank you for your interests in our theme! Also, please notice that if you want to have a mega menu option for a category, you should have some sub-categories for that category. Also, for more information about how you can create a mega menu, please check the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-mega-menu/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/weather-widget-newsmag/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/weather-widget-newsmag/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi catalin,
We already tried that. the problem we have is that if we open a menu-item as stated on your page https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-mega-menu/ the option – make this a catagory megamenu- is just not there.
Hello vince-2,
First of all, please ensure that you have right installed via FTP way the latest theme version and also, make sure that the system status is right setup according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Please notice that option should have to be there if the theme will be right installed. After these steps, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
I am also having the same issue with mega menu after installing it.
The demo content menu shows a mega menu, however, when entering “Menus” in WordPress, there is NO option or pull-down bar for “make this a category megamenu” — Can someone please help resolve this?
Hello MJ,
I have tested on my side and this option should be there and works as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5DCKoTCaescA
Ensure that your theme has been installed via FTP way and if the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can take a closer look at it.
Thanks for your understanding!
