I just purchased the newsmag theme and imported the classic blog demo without the content yesterday. I’ve been customizing the theme to suit what I want, saving the settings as I go but the saved changes don’t seem to be appearing. Like the colors for post headings, background, the text logo; and yes I went for style 10 for that. I am new to this so I just wanted to find out if I’m missing something or doing something wrong. Please help. I need to get my site up and running soon.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and also, the latest version of required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. OK. So how do I go about changing some of these parameters to the recommended ones? where do I go to exactly?
Check with your hosting service to fix some of the host-related settings.
See the official WordPress docs (wordpress.org) to learn how to add custom elements to your wp-config.php file, such as increasing default memory from 40M to 128M, etc.
