Newsmag: Opening posts in a new window or tab

Hi – When a visitor clicks on the headline or thumbnail image for a post on my site – say, on my Home page – the page changes to display that post.

Instead, I would like the item to open in a new window / tab when a visitor clicks on it (target =”_blank”).

I can’t find any settings for that in the Newsmag Theme Panel – is there a way to do it? I would prefer this behavior globally, but if I need to specify it for every individual post when I create new posts, that’s OK too.
