Yes it will return a search result but not complete. The author have 13 articles but it did not show it all at the search results

When you perform a search query the results will be only those posts which contain the exact query in their title or content. The author name is not taken into consideration when the query is made. This is default functionality of WordPress in this regard and the theme does not change it.

How can I change to pagination instead of the infinite scroll on the author’s page

Unfortunately the theme does not have an infinite load pagination for author page. For the moment this option is available only for category page. To achieve that you will need some customization in theme’s core files.
This is a very complex task which involve lots of customizations and also time to be completed. We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you really need this and you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
