Newsmag Visual Composer Update

Hello,

I see my Visual Composer is not working now. I can’t use this to Build a Page. Its just stuck.

My is theme Version: 1.5 and Visual Composer 4.7, So I want to update it to latest version. Where I can Download the Latest Version?

From ThemeForest with the theme; simply download the “all files” from your downloads page, for the theme, and find it in the /plugins/ folder 🙂

I just upgrade from 1.7 to 3.1 and the whole them works better.

@K.H.R try to update the theme at V 3.1 which is available on themeforest and also update Visual Composer at V 4.12 which is included in theme’s path. I do not want to update the “newsmag” Core. Because, My current version is Good for Bounce Rate. I updated to latest version, I noticed Bounce rate is high 50%+. Normal Bounce rate is Max 4% for last 2 years. Then I downgrade the “newsmag” & its again upto 4%.

That may not make sense, but its true for me. This maybe coincidence.

So I just want to update the Virtual Composer. Is there any problem ?

Then if you need/want the latest VC plugin version that works with theme, your option is to download it with the ‘all files’ bundle, extract it from the /plugins/ folder and upload via FTP to your site. This presumes you’ll have backup in case it does not work as you expect, such as when VC changes some of its block code/CSS from time to time without warning.

@K.H.R we didn’t tested prior versions of Newsmag theme with V 4.12 of Visual Composer and we can’t guarantee that it will work fine. However you can give it a try and check how it goes but as @Chris pointed make sure you do a backup before.
