Newspaper 3.7 topic / issues

Hi guys,

Is anybody experiencing any bugs or issues with the latest versions of the theme?

Ever since updating the Ajax functionality seems to have stopped working. I’m trying to identify if its anything to do with the theme or some other plugin but it would be useful to know if other people are experiencing problems

I am having a similar issue with 3.7. The big slide and slide work fine, as does black 2 on the homepage with load more posts pagination, but right under that I have block 3 in several tabs for different categories and those are having an issue.

They each show 6 posts on native view, then have a load more posts via ajax function to load an additional 6 at a time. That pagination works. The tabs don’t though. All content in the various tabs are showing at once. The tab names are acting as anchor links on the page.

What problems are you having?

Attention: If you are using tabs, I wouldn’t recommend to install this update! I’ve wasted all my night because of this.

Yes, having similar problems with the tabs. Using it widely in my site and actually broke it.

Same problem here. Tabs not working. even admin panel is affected.

in 3.7 problem with shortcodes were solved or not?
if not, have we any manual how i can add shortcodes back?

there are some incompatibilities between our theme and the wordpress 3.9.

we are aware about the tabs , the shortcodes, in the next update we hope to have a fix for them.

It seems my issue is also related to an extension called ‘Ultimate Visual Composer AddOns’ which seems to add to the AJAX problems. Quite annoying as it works just fine on other websites that are on WP 3.9

Hopefully the problem will go away in the next update, if not I’ll have to find a way to get to the bottom of it!
