Newspaper 7 speed booster

Hi,

I have Newspaper 7 but I noticed that the tagdiv speed booster plugin is not included. I only have social counter. How do I get the plugin?

Hi,

Please not the the speed booster appear in Version 7.8 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CdqVOO8I1 -> https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609?s_rank=1
We recommend you to make a full backup to your website and get the last version of theme 9.2.2
Also please note that you need to download the theme with all files.

Hi Calin,

thanks for your quick reply. Nevermind my previous question. I found the plugin inside /includes/plugins/td-speed-booster.zip in the Newspaper directory.

I have now added all the css/js files that I would like to move to the footer using the following code:

$this->move_style_to_footer_queue(‘td-theme-demo-style’);

After saving and reloading the page, I noticed that any of the files have been added to the footer, they still keep loading in the head of the page. What’s happening here? Can you help me do some troubleshooting?

Hi,

First please check the speed booster in System status and if is look like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/pLst5ro0VvNa you need to set this in wp-content/plugins/td-speed-booster/td-speed-booster.php and add the co-authors-plus/co-authors-plus.php in allowed plugins -> https://www.screencast.com/t/SEFSuf7gYU
