Newspaper 7 – Visual Composer and the Author Box-Filtering

Hello Guys,

we updated to Newspaper 7 and got an issue (maybe bug) regarding Visual Composer and the Author Box . We excluded severals ID’s to only show up some Authors, which was fine in V6.7.2. After the update to Newspaper 7 all settings will simply ignored, so that all Authors will show up. :-/

All Plugins (including Visual Composer) are up 2 date and all caches and Caching Plugins were cleared.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi,
Please filter your author box like so: http://screencast.com/t/1sOBysVrYa07 It works as expected for us. You ned to use the author id’s and add them simply in the field separated by comma’s
Please try to disable all plugins except visual compoer, clear cache and reset cdn files.

Hi Bogdan,

I’m not a beginner in web development. 😉
But I disabled all plugins except visual composer V4.11.2 and tried the exclude and include filtering, to check if one of them will work, but it’s not the case.

We don’t have any CDN or Caching Plugin running in our development environment, so that here are no worrys.

I also tried to reinstall the visual composer plugin that didn’t helped.
