How do I create wider layouts as shown in the Newspaper 8.5 update video? I cannot see any options to stretch the header, content and footer as shown in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jf9-fsfwrp4 at 25 seconds?

Thank you. I will give that a go. What about auto generated content e.g. Posts? Is there a way to change the default template to stretch the width so everything is in line?

The width can only be changed on pages at the moment. The post page total width cannot be changed. The post content width is fixed as well and depends on having a sidebar or not. This is a post without a sidebar for example

Thank you. With pages, when I create a page add a row set to stretch 1600px and add an element e.g. “Big Grid 2” the grid does not stretch?

There are normal big grids and full big grids. You must use full big grids with the stretch row settings. These are all the available full big grids, at the moment

I could’t say if there will be changes regarding the overall theme width, including the post pages. At some point there could be settings for this. We constantly try to implement trending features and user suggestions, all are considered when the time comes.
