In the DivTag Builder, I have put a button in the Desktop and Mobile menu stating “Subscribe” I would like people to click that botton to subscribe from a service that is not third part. It requires a URL to lead to. The newsletter that came with Newspaper 9, apparently is not third party store. How do I attach my button it to the built in Newsletter? I tried to put the Newsletter Element in the Button Area, it looks huge.
2. How do I set up the Newsletter and get access to it?
3. The Tagdig Newsletter Element wants to attach to MailChimp. I don’t understand, isnt Mail Chimp another newsletter service like newsletter? Why would one need both?

Please note that if you want to add a Subscribe functionality in our theme, you will need to create an account on MailChimp, MailerLite or Feedburner which are some services which allow you to implement this functionality. Please note that you cannot use our tagDiv Newsletter if you do not set up a Newsletter provider. That element only takes the functionality of this service and display it on the frontend, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/YV3kYy9hh You can use the code provided by these services and only paste into a Text with Title element and the result should look like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CwLtW6sC71y where you have more available fields. So you are saying, Tag Div Newsletter is not a service provider that helps obtain, keep and communicate with subscribers? And that its only function code to display and need to attach to an actual provider? Mail Chimp and the ones you mentioned are third party, that have access to my clients information, and at anytime I can lose access to them. Please advise? I want to keep my readers information private, and just send out through email and text notifications for news articles, and may be charge a subscription fee.

Hi,
Yes, the Newsletter is not a service provider. This just a simple tool which displays you the code provided from your Service Provider, like MailChimp, FeedBurner and Mailer Lite.
This is the main functionality of Newsletter. The rest of the functionality should have to be set up from these providers.
