Newspaper – Japanese characters

I’ve been using Newspaper for years now, but only for Western-based languages so to speak. I’m now trying Newspaper for Japanese websites. However, it seems the theme cannot cope with the Japanese characters – do you have a fix for this?

As you can see the Japanese characters are not “contained” inside the elements. Does your theme support these signs?

So the thing is that when I use your theme for a website with Japanese characters all the “text / characters” are not limited with the excerpts – demonstrated in the screenshots. So this will make the entire website’s design look messy – is there a way to counter this?
