Some years back a company set up my website with the Newspaper theme. I need to update the theme, but the company dont exist anymore and I don`t know where they bought the theme. I wonder: If I buy the Newspaper theme again, I will get a new Registration key for the theme panel. Will this affect my existing website, the way it looks etc?

Hi numerology, is like Ali147 said, the new license will not affect the theme, but there can be some problem because the update, I strongly recommend to try the theme update on subdomain or staging and we’ll try to help to solve the problem that can appear.
