We use Advanced Advertising System PRO to rotate clients banner ads. After Newspaper theme installation I’m not able to set all banner spots. We use shortcodes like [aas_zone zone_id=”21262″] . Sidebar widget works perfect, because WordPress maintain it, not Newspaper theme. Newspaper’s Header Ad spot works with our shortcodes, except Default Header style 1, but we like it and would like to use default header style. Also I can’t implement shortcodes on frontpage between news blocks using Backend Editor. I tried HTML, Ad, text blocks etc.
Any ideas how to fix it? Please answer ASAP, we need to rotate client’s ads.

Sorry but we have not tested the plugin you mention and we have no idea of it’s functionality. If the plugin will not works out of the box, it most likely needs further implementation we cannot provide. Sorry

Hi Bogdan. I’ll try to ask in other words. In general, does your theme support shortcodes for main page? If not you have to write about it in your theme’s promo. It’s very important for any webmasters.

We bought it, installed, spent large numbers of hours to tune it and now we see that the theme is for simple blogs only.
Looks like your page builder doesn’t support shortcodes. Is it correct? There is a small piece of code to fix it, but a real cons for the current release.

Shortcodes are not a general thing that works with every builder or theme out there. Visual composer has it’s own shortcodes. But if you use shortcodes from another page builder, they will not work with visual composer. Try to find shorcodes that work with visual composer and they will work with our theme as well. But if they are not compatible with the builder, they will not be compatible with our theme as well.
The shortcode plugins are not tested. some of them might work and some of them might not. This is the case with every theme out there. Not all plugins are compatible.
