How to change overall newspaper theme color from white to something like #e5e5e5 or anything else? Please note that i am not talking about background color. Hope you will understand this case and reply soon.

I mean like Black Version of the theme.

If you want to bring your theme to the black version layout, please notice that is not a simple task and require a lot of additional customization through code that involves custom work. I suggest you to install the Black Version without content and you will bring that layout. As a hint, all the custom CSS code from this version you will find here -> http://screencast.com/t/NPxxvKuuogI You can try to copy/paste this code on your style.css but please notice that it require doing some additional customizations in order to achieve best results.
