I am using the Lifestyle Theme along with the Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro plugin. For some reason, on an event page, the browser title says “Upcoming Events”. It should show the name of the event. If I switch to a basic WordPress theme (2016), then the event name shows properly in the event title, so I know it is being “corrected” for some reason, but my Newspaper theme. How can I get the Newspaper/Lifestyle theme to stop making this adjustment? PS – I am not using a SEO plugin, so that is not an issue.

Unfortunately we did not tested the events calendar plugins and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins.

Hi TagDiv, I understand that, but I was hoping you could help me discover how your theme controls the title tag on a page? It is an archive page, so I’m assuming there’s somewhere in the Newspaper theme control panel, or Newspaper theme php files that I can add to the child theme to modify and control that title tag. So I’m not asking how to make the plug-in compatible with your theme, I’m just asking how to control the title tag on a page with your theme. Thank you so much!

I’m so sorry for my mistake. I just figured it out, yay! I was actually using a Newspaper Child theme and I had altered the functions.php file a while ago with some code from the Events Calendar knowledgebase about a problem I was having at the time. Thank you again for your help and so sorry for taking your time.
