I saw on my Page Speed waterfall chart that a lot of time is spent downloading the “newspaper” font and all its variations from Google Fonts. Each request takes about 300ms
Is there a way to have the fonts load asynchronously or to edit my settings to use faster loading fonts? (like Arial, etc)

Hi,
A newspaper theme comes with an option to disable Google fonts. You can easily disable them from theme panel. Refer: https://prnt.sc/q8lo45
