Newspaper theme for AMPforWP plugin

Hi guys! I noticed that the “trending now” element does not work in the amp version because there is no necessary JS file. When I connected it from the desktop to the Newspaper theme, I found that the jQuery object does not exist. In the demo version of the plug-in site, this element works (https://ampforwp.com/themes/newspaper/). Tell me what’s the problem?
Desktop Version V 8.2
Newspaper AMP Theme Version 1.9.13
