Newspaper V 7.3 issues

Hello, I’m using WordPress Version 4.5.3 and recently update my theme to Newspaper V 7.3. I noticed a couple issue am hoping you can help me resolve.

First, with the “Homepage post” Element the Youtube video playlist doesn’t work, it completely takes out my homepage.

Secondly, I have Buddypress 2.6.2 running; with the update to v7.3, i cant seem to be able to get my Activity page default to “Update”. It now always defaulting to “Everything”. Can you please have this tested?

Hi

Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all; caches, purge cdn files then test the page again. Let us know how it goes and if the problem persist please provide your site url so we can inspect it closer.
The indicated option is managed by Buddypress plugin and the theme can’t change it. I’ve also test this on my side with a default wp-theme and got the same behavior: http://screencast.com/t/S5EypWkcQ
