Any role below administrator CANNOT use any of the drop down menus, set post status or schedule posts. This needs to be fixed!
Super fantastic upgrade. But a few small issues. Speed booster plugin causes the site to become blank? The login icon at the very top menu is slightly misaligned for 980px.
Great works , just update a minute ago.
Anyway, seem old booster plugin has problem with V3.
It’s cause some minor errors such as big slide , header ad sense & search tool.
I’ll try to update new booster plugin.

V 3.0.1 is out for some time now yes.
We are working to fix all the remaining issues, especially the custom ad size support and to finally fix our speed booster plugin for good with ad sense.

Ubermenu isn’t compatible with Newspaper and would really like a more interesting menu please!
I agree with the comment above. A megamenu should be the next “must” in this theme.
This theme is great for a news site. But when there are a lot of information in a site, a nice megamenu is very usefull to organice all the categories and sections.
Are you planning to implement it? If not, have you tested some plugin to create a megamenu with this theme?

I’m tech savvy, but not a power user. I’m on 2.4 (what I purchased at) and would like to upgrade to the latest version. Is there a walkthrough for upgrading somewhere? Or do I just take the latest Newspaper download and upload it to the theme folder via my FTP like I did for the original install?
Also, is there a email newsletter I can join to get notices about future patches?

@hawkswine and @dillermand16 yes, go to your themeforest account and check the box you can see in my screenshot.
So sorry to be dense, but I download the files and then what? Just plop them into my theme folder via FTP and over write the existing Newspaper folder? Is it just some files that should be uploaded or the whole thing? I just don’t want to wipe out all the work I’ve done to set up colors and logo and background images and stuff.

Just check the “send me updates” option in your list of purchased items on Theme Forest. Every time the new version is uploaded and approved by the system, you get an email saying “Newspaper has been updated” and with link to your account, download, and the theme page. Works 🙂

We have a problem with tagDiv speed booster plugin. When we activeted this plugin fonts and colors appear original type in the some computers and after seconds we have see our custom settings. When we tried to deactivete tagDiv plugin, Carousel gallery not working.
Finally we got this proglems after update. Can you check and fix our problems please.?Best Regards.
