Newspaper version 11 – issues?

Do we have any reports on this yet? Not interested in being the first one to try after 10.4 disaster.

I’ve just installed the update and all looks good for us.

Just did the update and everything looks ok so far. Still, really no issues? Still no GAB social media?

Instagram isn’t connecting. I’ve reconnected—twice—and cleared my cache, but it is still not connecting.

Just run the update on fabtrackr.com and it was ok. After running the update I had to update the plugings and activate manually, but all looking good so far.

I finally found one issue on my desktop:

The header and the footer are no longer full width on the screen.

For my start page they are: https://www.nyariks.se/

But not for the posts: https://www.nyariks.se/avslojar-tidningen-internationalen-har-fuskat-i-minst-sju-ar-med-upplagan/

Static pages also have the full width header/footer.

I’ve downgraded to the previous version.
Problem with fullwidth row when the layout is boxed: checked the option “Stretch row off”

After updated from 10.4 to 11, straight from theme update within WordPress (newest ver.), I can’t acces my website from any desktop browser (from mobile everything works just fine). When acces from desktop browsers it shows an little picture with theme and when clicked goes to Newspaper theme page from themeforest. Please help?

Alex, from tagDiv, responding fast at my emergency email and help me to fix this problem. It was solved uninstalling tagdiv Composer from WordPress Plugins, and then deleted, and after that, installing from Newspaper Panel, and activate it. Hope it helps. I’m not able to access the website from desktop after updating to 11 version. desktop version showing some theme images. Mobile version is working. So I have downgrade it.

There is a problem, JSON stopped working, my homepage was displaying newspaper graphics and a link to activate it.

Update wiped all of my settings in the Theme Panel, most critically all of my custom CSS.

The Mobile Theme is being neglected… some fixes (the CSS on the captions) were not fully implemented, some new functions (to disable the toTop button) were released only for desktop and mobile (but not for the Mobile Theme).

Also, the Theme is throwing some errors in the php log:
/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp-booster/wp-admin/tagdiv-view-header.php on line 26, for example.

Other than that, it is working well for me.

Updated theme today. Header and footer options in theme panel disappeared. We now have to recreate our old basic headers that we had to find and download from cloud library. Full width headers don’t look the same as before, even if we choose the ‘basic’ header styles that were there for last 5 years.
We used multipurpose headers with buttons on one of our sites. That option is gone as well.
We are really thinking on restoring the whole site. This is way too much work to rebuild the headers and footers from scratch, especially when alignment is off (ex. ad and main menu is not centered, even though that’s what the downloaded template showed. There isn’t no option for global settings (ex. social links, footer copyright text, etc…) like in the past versions.
This might be fine for new sites where you can just install a demo, but on existing sites this is way too much work.

I have same issue

I have updated to version 11, but any time I create the header menus it duplicate those menus at the footer and whenever I create the footer menus the header menus disappears. Please help.
