Newspaper Version Update – without losing my posts and images

Hi, I get updates from envato that Newspaper theme has an update. I want to install the latest version of the theme, how can I do so without losing my posts, images and layout and formating>?

Hi,

Please make a backup of your current theme installation, so you can revert in case something goes wrong. Also follow our guide to update your theme, use FTP method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/ and update the plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
Normally the posts/pages, styling modifications you’ve set in the Theme Panel – will not be effected by updating your theme, only custom modifications to the theme’s files will be overwritten.
