Is anyone familiar with using Newspaper with the Postie plugin?

I have the shortcodes add-on
http://postieplugin.com/downloads/postie-shortcodes-addon/
and was hoping to be able to use it to post the Source name and Source URL fields on emailed in articles.

Based on their site I used various combinations:
[pcustom name=td_source value=”my value”]
[pcustom name=’td_source’ value=”my value”]
[pcustom name=td_post_theme_settings[td_source] value=“my value”]
[pcustom name=td_post_theme_settings=[‘td_source’] value=“my value”]
[pcustom name=td_post_theme_settings[‘td_source’] value=“my value”]
[pcustom name=td_post_theme_settings [‘td_source’] value=“my value”]

None worked, any suggestions anyone?

Hello brianjcameron,

Unfortunately, this type of plugin is not tested with the theme and we cannot say for sure if it will work as properly with the theme and also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins, sorry! I suggest you contacting the author’s plugin because he should be able to provide a more accurate response in this regard or you can hire somebody to help with the plugin implementation in the theme.

Thanks for the message!

Ok thanks.

Am i right in communicating to the plugin author that there is only one field called “td_post_theme_settings” and the sub elements source name, source url etc are keys in that field?
