is it possible to adjust the speed of the newsticker?

Hello,
Unfortunately there is no setting to adjust it;s speed. It can be done but you will have to alter the theme js file for it. That file is changed on each update so you will hve to make the modification again after each update.
Please change this number to a bigger one for slower speed or a smaller number for faster speed: https://www.screencast.com/t/DWftPj5xa0F
