after last update, the mobile theme is not showing amp site anymore
I reinstalled mobile theme, official amp for wp and saved permalinks
my site is

and another thing, after new update, the WP dashboard is extremely slow
adding to the post, that if I manually put /?amp to the url, the amp site is working
its not connected to the mobile theme
I want to make a little update, now mobile theme is not working at all.

Please make sure that you follow our documentation for How to Update the Newspaper Theme for WordPress -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
Also our our mobile theme was tested only with the AMP plugin that we provide, we can not say for sure if the mobile theme will work properly with others AMP plugins or not.
In Newspaper c9.6.1 you have 3 options, one for only mobile, one for mobile and AMP( this option is working only with the AMP that we provide ), and AMP ( this option allow you on which page/post to make AMP, also this option is available only with provided AMP plugin )
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme please deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

Mobile theme is not linking to AMP Pages
When I click a link post from homepage it goes to html version not amp version
no other plugin is running now on site

From what I can see you are using now the mobile theme + amp and from what I can see is working normally.
If you re using the mobile theme with automatic amp the layout of amp will be the same as for mobile, if you are not using the mobile theme, only the amp youâll get the layout of WordPress amp ( the one that you have now ).

Guys! You’ve made a preety mess with the AMP. I wrote it in few topics. It took as a few days to understood, that now ist 3 headers; one for desktop, one for “Mobile + AMP” and one responsive. In our opinion third choice pure “AMP” doesn’t work at all. Our site now is set on “AMP + mobile” We had a lot of trouble with google analytics. Generally 9.6.1 is the worst update since I’ve remember.
The analytics code is ok
Im telling you that since last update, mobile theme not load amp. It loads classic html
And when loading amp manually with ?amp, all links in that page sends you to non amp pages

You see it because I’ve choose an option “Mobile + AMP” so there is a lot of post indexed by Google as an AMP. I would prefer to work with third option “AMP” only, but in my and my team opinion this option does not work properly. I would prefer it because in theory it allows me to choose post/pages, but as i mentioned before it’s not working. One of us is really wrong đ BTW… I use only your solutuion for AMP and have no other plugin for this. I’ll try onece again with an “AMP” option but it will be the last chance…

But Im glad you find out that if you search my website in google, it sends you to an AMP page
That means that AMP is working properly on my website
The problem that Im trying to tell you is that the mobile theme does not load AMP
In fact, mobile theme is just not loading on my site when I select the
USE MOBILE THEME FOR: AMP
And when I select the
USE MOBILE THEME FOR: MOBILE+AMP then the theme loads but does not load AMP

If I understand correctly you are referring that if you are on a amp post and you go to another pose the that is not longer open in amp version, indeed now is use only the amp plugin functionality and you can not navigate in AMP posts.
@Jumich please provide some more details about AMP option why is not working for you, in this way I will be able to help you!

In my case, Im still using the AMP 9.6 version until they provide amp native among mobile plugin options.
Im waiting for support to confirm this status to move forward
