Hi,
My website is publishing more or less 10 contents a day and has 35000+ posts history. Redactors won’t put each time a featured pic in their posts.
Considering we are using style 7 for daily news, is there a way that by default if no featured image is set :
– in the featured image placeholder, the system will display the first imga of the post
– post thumbnail will be generated from the first image in the post
Try this method:
Some plugins like Auto Post Thumbnail Pro, can instead capture first image in post meta and make that featured image, which will then be the thumbnail used for modules/etc.
