No url link working on customize ads on newspaper theme panel

url link not working on customize ads. even i add it on theme panel ads column…its not working. when i click on customize ad, it will show # tag. but already i am giving a url link on that. please gudime

Usually the code for banners/ads is look like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/syjH7O1a and you need to insert the url like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dFcsEu7HE5k
