Dear customer support,
although we followed your instructions to implement our non AdSense responsive ads in the header ad section they are not shown on Desktop PCs. I guess add-ons like Ghostery and Adblocker prevent it or deactivate the ads section.
What can we do about this huge issue?
Is it possible to change the label of this section or just implement a “normal” picture there to solve this problem?
Thank you so much for your help and support.
Best regards,
Felix
Please provide me a link to your website where I can check these ads, also some screenshots with the settings you’ve made will be very helpful. Also you can check our documentation for non adsense ads -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/ Custom ad spots -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-ad-spots/
Thank you!
Hi Calin, thanks for your quick reply and sorry that I forgot to provide you with our url which is https://inselzeitung.de
Your documentation is great and we followed your instructions but unfortunately in this case the ad is not shown. This screenshot shows you our settings in the header ad section of the backend: https://inselzeitung.de/wp-content/uploads/inselzeitung-header-ads.png
I hope this might help?! Appreciate your support.
Best regards,
Felix
Hi,
As I can see you have set the ads only for desktop and mobile, on rest of devices you’ll not have ads -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/ also these are displaying -> https://i.imgur.com/qKDW2Ni.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/ccIMq1t.png
Thank you!
Hi Calin, our settings are correct but you can not see the ad on all desktop devices!
Most of our browser don´t show the banner: https://inselzeitung.de/wp-content/uploads/inselzeitung-ads-desktop-min.png
Is there a way to just display a “normal” picture at this place without marking the field as an add because most adblocker and/or add-ons like ghostery are blocking it?!
Thank you so much for your help again.
Best regards
Hi,
So if you are using this code
<div class=”td-visible-desktop”>
<!– Your NON AdSense code here – this ad will show only on desktops –>
</div>
the the ad will be display on DESKTOP 1141px +
using this code
<div class=”td-visible-phone”>
<!– Your NON AdSense code here – this ad will show only on phones –>
</div>
the ad it will be display only on PHONES 0 – 767px
To set the ads on all device you can use this code
<div class=”td-all-devices”>
<!– Your NON AdSense code here – this ad will show on all devices –>
</div>
Also if you are using adblocker is normal that your ads to not be visible, for this are made. But if you still want to do it, then yes, you can use a simple image with a link on it -> https://i.imgur.com/Us5X62X.png
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi Calin, thank you so much for all the information and screenshots you´ve provided!
I hope you can see that we know how to implement a picture or ad with a simple script but it´s still NOT shown on a desktop pc using chrome, mozialla and edge even if you use just a simple image with a link on it.
Maybe it is because this field is marked as an ad section? If it was an add it would be great that the content is hidden but right now this solution seems to be not working for us and we need this as section to be replaced by a “normal picture field” to be sure that the content (normal image) is shown on every secured browser!
Thanks again for all your time and help
Stay safe and healthy.
