Hi, So I’ve ran a number of tests and when somebody tries to register and become a member on my website they get the notification “Check your email to activate your account” after signing up.
The only problem is that the activation NEVER comes. I’m ending up just adding members manually myself because it hasn’t been working… Do you guys know how to fix this?
I’m using version 7.7 of the theme (just updated yesterday), and its been 30 minutes and no activation is showing up still. Hopefully, you can help me. Thanks!

I am having the same issue, email never comes with login information. By the way, can this default email be edited? Where is it stored? I’m on 7.7 also. I’m also having customizations done using the theme login modal.

The theme doesn’t change WordPress functionality, and it has nothing to do with sending emails.
First please check if your server is correctly configured for this – http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-wordpress-not-sending-email-issue/
Second, if you use a plugin like SendGrid to send emails to your instead of server functionality users, please check if it is correctly configured and it sends emails.
