Numbering of photos in picdump

I would like to number the photos in my posts. I do a lot of picdumps and users want to reference the photo number to their friends. Fro example, “hey check out photo #13 in this post.” Is there a way I can do this with your theme I have on my site saucemonsters.com? This is an example I took from theChive http://imgur.com/a/JKfwk

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option for it, sorry! You should try using some plugins with this functionality and see how it will work for you.

I can’t for the life of me find a plugin that does it. Any suggestions?
