One post on the homepage

How do I get only a single post on the homepage of a specific category? I would like the full post to be shown on the homepage, but only one post. I have made the post into a page and made that the static homepage but I don’t like the way it looks. I would like to turn this back into a post and make the full thing stick to the homepage. Please help. I don’t see any way to do this basic feature.

Hi

You can use page builder + latest article and select from category filter the category you want the article to be displayed: http://screencast.com/t/ngvt8n8GQf . The number of article can be limit it as you want as you can see here: http://screencast.com/t/CxZu0t88

I have tried to create the homepage using the page builder but then the smart sidebar doesn’t work and it also puts another sidebar after the article at the bottom. How do I fix this?
