only 2 adsense ads show in homepage

Hi,

on my website I just manage to get 2 adsense ads on the homepage, the 3rd just doesn’t show up. That’s frustrating because on all other pages I’m able to get all 3.

I used 2 slots under ‘Ads’ and pasted the Adsense code (asynch)

Then as you said added 1 under ‘Google adsense’.

Now it works.

Is it better to use all 3 under Google adsense? What’s the benefit over what I did?

I think if you paste multiple things into the “ad slots” boxes, you might be duplicating code. I think if you use the async method using the adsense box with “async” ad “type”, the “code” (call to Google) only loaded once, then each size in each slot calls the async/responsive unit. Likely the way you were doing it originally caused some kind of “limit” on ads from Google, -or- some code cancelled the other out.

Might be wrong, but that’s how it works for me.
