Ordering featured Posts

When the “featured” category is selected on a post, that featured post becomes automatically ordered by the dates of the posts. I want to reorder the featured posts by preference, not publishing date. Can you tell me how to do this? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

What exactly do you mean by that? That would happen if you use a latest sorting, from the category/categories you set. The posts will be ordered by publish date.

Hi Simon.

Let me clarify my question. If I have 10 “featured” posts, and I want the 10th post (which is the oldest published date) to appear first in the featured block grid, how can I accomplish this this?

Filter by Featured category and sort by oldest, that would be the solution

That would arrange the posts by publish order, oldest will be first.

Hi Simion, I think you misunderstood his question. He wants to be able to custom order the posts. Now I’m facing the same issue – can this be done?

If you want to order the posts on homepage, then you can do it by setting the posts id – https://i.imgur.com/NvMBycc.png in the blocks from the homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/WXydNNe.jpg
