Hi, im downloading content with wprss plugin and i made it link directly to the source (https://kb.wprssaggregator.com/article/295-f2p-filter-make-post-titles-link-directly-to-the-original-article), instead of linking to the inner posts, it works on the main domain, it links to the source, the problem is with the categories, it links there to the posts the rss generated, instead of linking to the source, the wprss developer told me its the theme and i should look for help there…

Unfortunately we didn’t tested the wprss plugin with our theme, therefore we can not say for sure if this will work correctly with our theme or not, sorry!! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins.

Ok, any suggestion why it would work on main domain but not categories?

Unfortunately I can not say why this is working only on main domain, in order to can provide an answer it will be need to make an test to this plugin with our theme, maybe this have set some filters, or you are using a cloud template.

I get the canned responses to support limitations but you guys need to test WP RSS Aggregator and make an effort to support it considering they officially recommend your theme as a preferred choice. I actually bought this theme based off their recommendation. Take some time and test it out and you’ll add value to your offering. WP RSS Aggregator is the largest WordPress RSS aggregator plugin available and you make a newspaper theme so do the math on that one.

I haven’t noticed any incompatibilities between the theme or plugin yet. If you guys wanted to open a thread on integrating WP RSS Aggregator with the Newspaper theme I would be happy to document and contribute my experiences. I’m an advanced WP developer and I have a lot of experience with WP RSS Aggregator. They are both very well written and supported products that naturally belong together imo. I would be happy to help answer anyone’s future questions.
