Page Jump Issues

Hi Guys,

I’ve created tables of contents in my blog posts what contain jump links (like wikipedia)

Example: https://www.gardenseeker.com/plants/shrubs/buddleia/

The targets for the jump links are h2 and h3 headers.

However, when you click on the jump links, the page jumps past the h2 or h3 which is obscured by the menu.

Is there a way to fix this so the relevant header is visible and doesn’t confuse my visitors when they click on the jump links?

Thanks

Hi,

One solution would be to disable the sticky header in the theme panel

Then the top of the page will be visible. Or use a code like this one, seems to work. You can adjust the values in it if needed – https://www.itsupportguides.com/knowledge-base/tech-tips-tricks/how-to-offset-anchor-tag-link-using-css/

Thanks
