I can’t figure out what is killing the page and menu background on this post: http://seattleglobalist.com/2015/06/08/transgender-teen-brooklyn-buenaventura-crowned-renton-high-school-prom-queen/38098
I thought it was because we have a video and instagram embed on the page, but the background is missing even when I remove them.
If you look at any other posts on our site (e.g. http://seattleglobalist.com/2015/02/27/nestora-salgados-family-prepares-for-long-court-fight-in-mexico-in-vigilante-case/34329), you’ll see how the background is meant to appear.
Thanks for any ideas on what this could be!

Hi,
Not sure why do you have this issue, please create a new post, add that content and publish to see if you still have this problem. Also check this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and purge your file if you use CDN.
Thanks!
Thanks so much for your response! I tried your suggestion, but it did not work. Now it is happening with another post!
It’s just taking away the background of the header/menu section and I can’t understand why. Can anyone here tell what’s happening? Thanks!!
Hi,
You have modified the theme files? I see that on some post where is missing the menu bg you doesn’t have on body the td-full-layout and some CSS depends on that, what you can try is to add that class, class="td-full-layout" manually on body, like here: http://screencast.com/t/6Ys8fwd0 and see if works.
Thanks for the message!

I went and added td-full-layout through the theme panel and that did the trick, thanks!!
