This has happened with every new page that was created with Newspaper and the editor. I noticed when I publish in Facebook I get this in the meta description:

No mater if I try to use yoast SEO and override it, it will default back to this. Thanks for any insight you have.

yes that is what I am doing. Still geting the error on some posts and most pages. (‘[caption id=’) My posts have the correct Meta description when in the yoast box, but when the page is saved it gets changed somehow. This happened at the time I switched to newpaper. do you guys have any ‘og:url’ values? On facebook’s debugging page I wasn’t getting those errors berore. I was wondering if it linked with the visual editor. Thanks again

Do you use The SEO by Yoast plugin? this will add all the meta data that you need.
Yes I do that is what is so frustrating. Do you think it is linked to the visual bakery plugin? Something in the theme is overriding Yoast.
