the “Page Template Settings” option does not work
The option appears in the Screen Options but I click it and when I refresh the page it is unclicked again. Please, it is urgent because I have to modify a sidebar and I have no way to do it. This happened from one moment to the next … I can’t find a reason. Please, I need speed in response. THANK YOU

Hi Anamaria! thanks for the suggestion, plug deactivated, uninstalled and reinstalled it. But it does not work. I ask you if it is possible for them to enter the wordpress administrator and try to solve it, because I have tried almost everything and nothing seems to work.
On the side of the administrator I have no error in the console but there are errors in the frontend but I do not think they are related (Facebook errors…)
Where can I check that the license is properly associated with that domain?
I didn’t control that detail because I don’t know where to look for it. It just says “registered” but this website was migrated from a subdomain a time ago and I think the error may come from there.

I did several recent tests and everything remains the same regarding the bug.
– Important! I found that the function was no longer working on the site before it was migrated (it did not work on the subdomain where I made the new website).
– I reset the registration number to take the main domain (previously it was associated with a subdomain).
– I reinstalled all the plugs that Newspaper brings.
– I deactivated all the plugs and activated them one by one.
– I put a default htaccess.
– I manually updated the theme to its latest version.
– Updated PHP from 7.2 to 7.4
Nothing works. Page template settings and Homepage Latest Articles do nothing when I click on them.
Please, there must be some reason, the other screen options related to wordpress display perfectly.

I Did a test accessing with SAFARI and the screen options work !! I’m very happy. I understand that you guys have a bug with Chrome at this point.
