I updated to the latest version of Newspaper and page views stopped working properly.
We have 50+ authors and this is their favorite feature. Please let me know what I need to do to fix this feature.

I talked with my hosting kinsta.com
They created a admin-ajax block rule and this is what they said:
“The real issue is that they bypass our server caching. This means that every single visitor to the site sends a request back to the server that bypasses our server cache. The ability of the site to be as fast as possible and handle a huge load of traffic relies on using the server cache as much as possible and this ajax call dramatically reduces the ability of the server cache to deflect the load off of PHP and the database.”
I’ve asked them to remove the block because I need page views to motivate my writers.
Are you working on an update to smooth out post view counting?
