Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have an option to filter the most popular article from current today, sorry.
For the most read articles from the last 7 days you have an option in every block http://screencast.com/t/sqw772neMj but make sure you enable the 7 day sorting from theme panel > block settings: http://screencast.com/t/A9Y4TAj9 and notice that this sorting option doesn’t work fine if you’re using cache.

I use one column slider in home page adn in sidebar as widget.
I changed the thumb size from 300×350 to 433×300.
The main slider works fine, but it does show bad images on slider that is in the widget.
How to use other thumbnail only for the slider that is in
widget?

You could try to add a new case for the sidebar layout in td_module_slide.php like this: http://screencast.com/t/5PAX4y9qWi and a new thumb size in td_config.php http://screencast.com/t/dKQrsEKOdhg that the image to be cropped at the size you want for that slide, also you will need additional css for this slide in style.css file.
This changes requires good coding skills, so I recommend you to hire a developer from sites like http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself, because we cannot offer any type of custom work, as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support.
