Hi there,
The page views function in the theme works well. The issue, however, is that it only counts page views from the moment it is enabled. This is a problem for long running sites that want to use the Newspaper theme.
It would be immensely appreciated if the developers would allow syncing with Google Analytics, thereby insuring that the page views are always accurate and thus accounting for previous views.
There is a plugin on WordPress that does do this (https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-analytics-post-pageviews/) but it would be preferred if there was integration with the Newspaper theme.
