Pagination Loop Reset

Hi,

Seems like pagination resets the loop set within modules and blocks
How can I prevent this reset? I’d like to keep track of which number post the user is seeing, and display different ads as he gets further down the list of posts. However, the load more seems to prevent that, and sets the counter back to zero

Please advise
