Is there a built in Parallax module available with Newspaper if not is it something that is considered for the future.

Hello,
Unfortunately we don’t have full width modules / blocks yet and from my first look it seems that the theme will have to be heavily modified to support that.
To make the parallax effect we need full width support (out of the grid). I will see if we can do that.

I have seen something like that on another theme http://imgur.com/6dn579n which seem to work without full width. That might be worth a look
