In the big grid block, i have entered id’s in Multiple categories filter:
48,49,26,24,6
Now what I need is that, left big part,should carry post thumbnail from only one category i.e, News [id=48] and rest 4 other categories[49,26,24,6] should be limited to small thumbnails on the right part.

How can it be made to be displayed in the pattern I have mentioned above?

I have inspected your website and I saw that you are not using the Big Grid at your top homepage, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/FRGDBmrli31 If you want to achieve the above results as you described me, you should use the Big Grid 1 and sort them by your desired from Block Settings. Again, thanx for your timely response.
I have used big grid 1, and also checked the parameters available. But what I need is that left big image should contain post from only one category, no other category.
In the meanwhile, I tried some other methods to display posts in the way I require.

Please notice that the Big Gird 1 uses two different modules like mx5 (for bigger image) and mx6 (for others images) and you cannot have any control for these from the panel settings, sorry! If you want to display more levels in this regard, you should edit the Big Grid and modules which create it and add some optional functionality. If you aren’t aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!
