Hi,

I have updated to Newspaper 7.7 and I am still getting this error:

Password fields present on an insecure (http://) page. This is a security risk that allows user login credentials to be stolen.

How to fix it?

Thanks

Hello,
Please provide a link to your site and specify where are you getting this error.

(If you have the login active the error is still there until you disable the login google wants every site that requires a login to be https)

Thank you!

Hi,

My website link is http://www.thehvjblog.com/ and I am getting this error under every browser console.

We have other websites that have login pages and using HTTP but there is no error on them.

Thanks,

Hello,

Yes this is a new google project to force every site that requires a login to move to https: https://www.screencast.com/t/7m14bEpbkHEI Unfortunately you will have to do it if you want to get rid of the warnings or simply deactivate the login from the theme and from the comments.
If you need a login on your site, then google will call it unsecure if it’s not https.

Thank you!
