Hi, can someone tells me where did this kind of gallery came from and how to disable it?
http://notranjskoprimorske.si/31/
Thanks
Hi,
The gallery you mention is the default attachment template from our theme. Unfortunately there is no setting to remove the “gallery”. You can however remove the next and previous images from here: http://screencast.com/t/lydJf0XHOmR
Thank you!
Hi,
the attachment page can be seen if you insert an image to your post and set it to link to the attachment page. If you do not want this, link your images to the media file so the link will go to the image directly: http://screencast.com/t/8ta7WGeA0h
As for the sitemap, this is not controlled by the theme but rather the seo yast plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
As I stated above, You can remove this “gallery” from the attachment pages by linking your images to anything other than the attachment page here: http://screencast.com/t/ZOWKgJGrFiQ
As for the sitemap, Our theme has no settings for a site map, that is why I suggested seo yoast as you can create a site map using the plugin.
Thank you!
I wish to tag onto this post.
How can I make the attachment page more visually and functionally pleasing?
I want to share an image from the attachment page, but it doesn’t look pretty and has not other text areas, information or even directions to click on previous/next image links.
Can the theme attachment page be made as pretty as the rest of the theme?
Maybe include the ability to add modules to show other articles, etc?
Hi,
@Breakwater
Unfortunately there are no settings for the attachment page other than the ones seen here: http://screencast.com/t/x4ieLRMn74s You cannot add visual composer elements to the attachment page from the theme panel. What you can do is use the do_shortcode function to add content through code. Every visual composer element has a shortcode that can be seen here: http://screencast.com/t/lEQjrxFAZo
Then you can use this code:
You can add the code in the attachment template file like so: http://screencast.com/t/yht7usHz
Now my block appeared on the attachment page: http://screencast.com/t/GQ0WNwFcjif
@dizajn
I’m not sure why you get the attachment page from linking to the media file. This should be the result in linking to the media file: http://screencast.com/t/1Kgp9otgj
If this is the case and your images realy link to the attachment page instead of the media file, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset vdn files. There could be a plugin conflict that does this.
Thank you!
