When does support for new versions of PHP come? My server was running on the latest PHP 7.1.7 release, which caused warnings in the domain’s error log as follows: ‘PHP Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in …/themes/Newsmag/includes/wp_booster/td_data_source.php on line 360’. I downgraded to PHP 7.0.21, which fixed this warning. Still I would like to see official support for these versions. 🙂

Please keep in mind that our theme has been tested with 7.1 version of PHP and it should works as expected. Try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results.

The specific error that I’m getting doesn’t have much to do with having a clean install or not, it’s a stock NewsMag-file. On top of that, the warning messages go back as far as the clean install. The theme itself works perfectly on 7.1, but the warning messages are found in de server’s log. On 7.0 they don’t.

As far as I understand it, you want me to check if I’ve put a non-numeric value in the offsets of the used widgets? Is there anything else you recommend before I check this? If not, please let me know and I’ll report the results afterwards (including after re-upgrading to PHP 7.1.7).

The warning is coming back. I’ve checked all the widgets and none of them have a non-numeric value. They’re either empty or filled with a number.

Did you try removing a widget one at a time to see which one it might be ?
@Chris No, this would just keep me busy for a bit and wouldn’t offer a solution. I’ve checked the contents of each of them to see if a letter or something else was in there, and there wasn’t. Don’t really feel like re-configuring the whole page and would rather work productively.
