My provider Kinsta updated PHP to 8.0 and discontinued PHP 7.4 since, they say, it is “end of life”.
This caused my site HispanicLA.com to collapse with errormessage “There Has Been a Critical Error on Your Website”.
I was told that the problem lies with td.composer plugin which has to be upgraded to work with PHP 8.0.
For the time being I restored the site to when it was working with PHP 7.4 but I lost work and the same problem will happen the next time their script runs.
So we need Nespaper to work with PHP 8.0. Thank you.
Hello,
Please let me know what version of the theme you have. Normally, should work without any problem -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/php8-0-is-not-working-with-my-site/ Also, please make sure that you have set the wp-memory 256M https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/there-has-been-a-critical-error-on-your-website/
Thank you!
Thank you. The theme’s version is 12.2 and Kinsta comes with 256 memory as default.
Sorry, I got more information from the tech from Kinsta:
“I can confirm the issue is with the plugin td-composer indeed:
2023/02/08 06:01:01 [error] 28518#28518: *19634 FastCGI sent in stderr: “PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: explode(): Argument #3 ($limit) must be of type int, string given in /www/hispanicla_815/public/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_util.php:2155
I also have access to the whole error log and can copy it for you here. Would that help?
Hi,

Good morning. I understand you’ve been working on my site, but the same problem remains. The frontpage hispanicla.com is corrupted and shows the same image that came with the message “There Has Been a Critical Error on Your Website”. The rest of the site works.
On Thursday morning I got this email:
“Hi,
The site now looks ok, the plugins can be activated back. However, I saw that there is still some problem, but I think you want the website to be ok over the weekend.
Thank you!”
Since then I emailed several times and did not get any answer.
Please acknowledge. Thank you,
G
