PHP 8.1 oR PHP 8.2 issue

When trying to activate Php 8.1 or 8.2 I have the following error:

There has been a critical error on this website.

Any idea?

Newspaper 12.1.1
PHP 8.1.16
Server: LiteSpeed
WP: 6.1.1

Hello,

I have tried but have an issue with it. I have a broken page see our test: https://staging.unric.org/en

I only work with PHP 7.4 otherwise it breaks the site. I have tested: 8, 8.1 and 8.2 but without success. Error Deprecated…

I had a similar issue. Turned out there was a plugin that was incompatible with php 8.1 (schema and structured data). Deactivated it and the site was back to normal. They put out an update for the plugin immediately aftewards. Check if one of your plugins is throwing an error in your server’s error log (I use apache). The theme should not be the culprit.

what plugins do you have?

– deactivate ManageWP Worker
– purge all cache
– test it
